Architected and developed a comprehensive enterprise wallet backend system managing transactions, balances, transfers, and payment processing with 99.9% uptime. The system seamlessly coordinates with frontend (React) and mobile app teams for unified API integration across multiple platforms. Features include real-time balance updates, transaction history tracking, multi-currency support, automated reconciliation, and comprehensive security measures. Built with microservices architecture to handle high-volume concurrent transactions, the wallet integrates with Momo payment gateways including Aitel,MTN and TNM. Implemented robust fraud detection, KYC verification, and compliance monitoring systems to ensure regulatory adherence and user security.

Developed the backend and USSD system for TengaPromo, a trending raffle platform managing different microservice backend deployments. The system processes user payments for playing different prizes, manages messaging to winners and draws, and features a user-friendly USSD interface available 24/7 with almost 0% downtime. Users can play for products, receive prizes, transfer prize balances to mobile money, and use credits to pay for different services like electricity, and water bills. The platform handles high concurrent users and real-time transaction processing with robust fraud detection and automated prize distribution systems.

Developed a comprehensive microservices-based gym management system called FitBase, currently used by several gyms in Kigali. The system manages both individual customers and institutional memberships, tracks check-ins and attendance, allows institutions to monitor their employees' gym attendance, and manages subscriptions with different packages. Institutions can download monthly attendance reports and invoices. The system supports various payment methods including card, mobile payments, cash, and POS. Gyms also use it to sell additional services directly through the platform with monthly charging for current cardholders who have recurring subscriptions with automated reminders. It also manages instructors, employees' dependents, and handles their invoicing efficiently.

Developed a comprehensive payment gateway solution for faster money receiving through seamless integration. The system manages transactions received through our portal and tracks transaction status with the fastest processing capabilities. Built with microservices architecture to handle high-volume transactions, real-time payment processing, and comprehensive reporting. Features include multi-currency support, fraud detection, automated reconciliation, and integration APIs for third-party systems. The platform ensures PCI DSS compliance and provides detailed analytics for business insights.

Built a microservices-based SMS gateway for bulk SMS processing, specifically optimized for Rwanda's telecommunication infrastructure. The system is faster to process SMS and can be integrated through other systems using our APIs. You can directly send messages on our portal or through integration with your other systems. Features a 99% delivery rate and is able to handle higher volume of SMS requests simultaneously while tracking request status and providing comprehensive delivery reports. The platform includes load balancing, auto-scaling, and real-time monitoring.

Developed a wildlife conservation travel website that allows clients to directly book different conservation experiences and destinations. The platform features an intuitive booking system where clients can browse available packages, check availability, make reservations, and process payments. Built with a comprehensive admin dashboard to manage all bookings, respond to client inquiries, update travel packages, manage availability calendars, and generate detailed reports. The system includes automated email notifications, payment processing integration, and a responsive design optimized for both desktop and mobile devices.

Designed and developed highly scalable backend solutions using PostgreSQL, TypeScript, NestJS, and GraphQL at ISHEMA Hub Ltd. Built robust microservices architecture with Kafka for efficient inter-service communication, implemented Redis caching strategies for enhanced performance, and created comprehensive API solutions that reduced response times by 40%. Managed legacy data migration and transformation while ensuring data integrity across multiple client databases. The system handles thousands of concurrent users and processes millions of transactions daily.

As the project lead for the Prime Voice Agency-platform, I ensure managed a cross-functional team to deliver a robust and scalable solution. My role involved overseeing the backend development using the latest technologies, while also leading the frontend efforts with React. I ensured seamless integration between the two, resulting in a high-performance platform that met client expectations while maintaining a strong focus on user experience, performance optimization and best practices.
